LCE header support bracket....?

Bought a used header but did not come with a support bracket so it vibrates and breaks exhausts welds making it make a nasty noise at low rpm. Help pleeeease

The header I have from LCE (Doug Thorley) has never had issues, it's a shorty though. Is the header you have a long tube? I'm not familiar with the year available for your truck.

I'd also be interested to see your header as I've run LCE long tube headers on my 2.7 Tacomas (1996 and 2012) with absolutely no issues whatsoever.

Mine buzzes sometimes under load. Needs a bracket.

 

I had a long tube header on my old 22re. After a few years the collector flange weld broke. Actually the tube just adjacent to the weld broke. It was not thinned out at all though so it was easily welded back on.

The long tube header I now have on my 2tr has no support bracket. The factory manifold had a support bracket to the block if I recall but the LCE header had no provisions to re use it.
