Sent there a year or so back with some friends. I'd say it's worth checking out. You're supposed to pay to use it but my friends and i just grabbed the envelope in case a ranger pulled up so we could tell him we're planning to pay :D
It's better then Pismo, 2wds and stocks can actually have fun too hahahha
Randy and I were thinking of running anza and ocotillo in December with whoever's interested. I'll probably set up a thread to organize it as it comes closer
    Hell ya there are :burnrubber:

So I asked @Mike likes Tacos in a PM but just want a little more input. I'm planning on ordering King front and rear shocks (25001-119 & 25001-121), the OME Dakar leaf pack, and Light Racing UCAs. Is there anything else I'll need to be up and running?

You da man. Pricing everything out right now and my bank account is going to be super unhappy. Time to apply for a Southwest Airlines credit card

Edit: well, this sure is convenient...

Ocotillo in December sounds cool. I know @dtaco06 was planning a Mojave trail run as well. Pretty excited about running that trail for a couple days. I wouldn't want to miss either one so hope it works out.

If you can try the 12" rears. You'll have to install the bamf kit but that extra of travel is great.

Either way ask whomever is building them to leave out the spacer. It gives you a bit more travel that way and saves you a couple hundred bucks. That spacer is the only difference between the Lt version and Mt version. Most don't know about that way of saving cash for an upgrade and has to be asked for.

Grab the carrier bearing drop kit from ome. It's cheap and keeps your driveshaft level at ride height.

The ECGS clamshell bushing. Well, I've explained that preventative part replacement enough. It's worth it.

All these I suggested are just add ons or preventative measures. What you have listed will start you off just fine. Ensure you get the resi's which you have. Adjusters you can add later.

Edit: rear extended brake lines. Dot approved. All pro has them. Steel braided and are great. No point in all that travel if you're just going to rip out your stock brake lines on the trail

Ocotillo is awesome, a lot of open desert to mob through and it's all mapped out. Still my favorite off road spot :D:bananadance:

I have this exact card. Big purchases go on it and I pay it off every month. The kings and a couple other purchases sent us on vacation back in April. Free flight, happy flight!

Ya, I'll be checking other airlines/cards after work today, but Melissa has a SW card as well so I figure I'll probably end up doing the same thing. Big purchases on that card, AKA anything truck related
