What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Thats correct this one does not have the JBL tech pkg thus the chrome bumper. It was the only white LB anywhere near me (actually it wasn't even on the lot it was at the port so I never saw it until the day I picked it up) and I could take or leave the JBL so it worked for me.

 

Way deeper sound when you step on it. Even makes the exhaust sound better, and feels like the truck is runninga lot smoother.

 

Haha I know right! I did the same thing but also removed the carbon part. It felt like my truck was searching hard to figure out what gear it should've in... I hated it and sounded like the truck did too. So I was desperate to find another option (not a $500+ one) and came across this one. I highly recommend

 

How much are you rubbing with those 33in M/Ts?

 

Did your drop in filter and removal of the carbon filter make any kind of noticeable difference?

 

Yup, made it way worse. It was almost like the truck didnt know which gear to be in.

 

You'd be surprised how easy they come off. I used a hair blow dryer and my finger nails once I got it started it peeled right off, then used alcohol to remove the left over residue and finished by polishing and waxing the affected area. Then I put new stickers on

 

That's crazy! I did the same to mine it I have way better throttle response. I did the same thing to my Tundra and it felt way better than having the Volant CAI I had on before.

Looks great! How'd you mount the compressor?

 

Removed air dam, put clamp on tailgate to help prevent theft, installed 0.5" spacer in front. Went from 1-3/8" rake to 1/4" rake (despite what the pic may look like). Waiting on OEM mud guards and Extang solid fold 2.0 being shipped now. Contemplating 3" main tube N-Fab bars, but I'm not sure. Decided to burn these stock Firestone tires up before going to Hankook Dynapro ATM, though it's not going to take long. Had the truck for 36 days and I have 4,600 miles on it.

I believe it was the combo of both. I ordered the full CAI from K&N, wayyyy better now!
