Alright I'm looking into putting a lift on my 07 Tacoma. I started to look at the icon stage 2 lift. Then I saw a long travel system for my truck. But in the description in the long travel said 3-4 inch lift does that mean I need to put the lift on first or that what it's going to lift my truck with long travel system. Just so I don't get any angry birds I bought the truck to do off-roading events not for a daily driver.

Thanks hope someone can help me understand it better.

Normally the listed lift would be the amount that the suspension system lifts the truck. A 4" lift does not always mean that you will gain 4" of suspension travel.

Typically kits that say that means you can potentially gain that much lift. Usual LT kits give 14-17" of travel.
