Or two buckets with a high quality hand washer :)

What do you guys prefer and use. Any reason not to go the pressure wash and foam route?

There's a time and place for both. A good two bucket wash is necessary at least every few washes to get the road grime off. But a pressure wash is nice when it's not too dirty, simply to minimize repeated contact with the paint. I usually do a two bucket once a month- maybe less in the winter. And I do a weekly pressure wash. Those are my averages, but it really depends on a few factors. Anytime I get off the highway in the summer I hit it with pressure to get the bugs off.

Foam cannon coupled with 2 bucket wash is the best way to go. Can't just use a foam cannon and pressure washer.

    Do floormats count?
I used a foam cannon for the first time yesterday and was happy with it. I've always used the two bucket method int he past, but will be using the foam cannon as well, from now on. Make sure you get a soap that foams up really well if you use a cannon.
