Decent bumper.... I still trying to collect to get the @Pelfreybilt aluminum one.
Don't want that much weight on the front end.

My 98 has 4 in.beefed blocks, QA1 up front, turbo. My 15 4x4 stock looking for lift and tires.
Hey guys Ive got a question. I ordered my lift and it is now here. I'm thinking of powder coating my springs to Steeler gold. Was just curious will the heat from powder coating effect the spring rate?

Also if anyone wants to lend a hand I've never done it and don't really want to tackle this on my own. So if we can get some guys together and knock it out as a mod day that would be great, and I would appreciate it. If not Ill just take it to American bed liner. Dan said he could do the lift for 400 bucks and that includes the alignment that I would have to pay for anyways.

So what do you guys think are you busy? Can you give another tacoma guy a hand? Like i have said before I have use of a semi vacant business with a big covered indoor area big enough where we could park all the trucks being worked indoors at the same time (incase of rain). May need a little help rearranging some of the crap that's there to maximise space but it would hold 5 or 6 trucks without moving a thing. Again we would have to bring any and all tools needed this place is mostly vacant. Let me know. Anyone else interested in doing a mod day please let me know.

Thanks again and let me know whos able to help.

@hmasonb34 Congrats on getting your lift. What did you get? And where is the shop located? I'd like to help out, but can't make a promise that I could make it. Let me know when & where, and I'll make it if I can.

I don't think it would affect them, don't think it gets the metal hot enough to change anything...
    Had a set done.

I need at least one person who has done this before or is a mechanic and knows how to do strut replacement with out a spring compressor. optimally it would be nice to get like 4 guys together where we could jack up the front and with two guys on each side tackle it together. So I just want to see who can definitely be there and If I get a good turn out then Ill do it. And just for the record Id be more than willing to open this place up to who ever else needs it. As long as it doesn't get out of hand it could be our mod shop.

Any other mods people want to do is welcome as well. Also if we dont get finished on saturday I can lock it up and we can come back on Sunday.

If someone whos better at computers wants to start a post including and all the names like yall do for meets that would be a help as well.

    HEATH's LIFT INSTALL DAY

whos coming, who might make it, who cant be there.

I wouldn't attempt that without a spring compressor, super sketchy. I've put springs on Bilstein 5100s with a spring compressor and I didn't like it

Have you watched this video before. I understand your concerns and am aware of the dangers but seems pretty easy when done like this. start watching at 300 min and skip the bull crap and let me know what you think then.
