I went into my dealership with an open mind to decide between a MT PRO in cement or an MT OR in quicksand. He gave me a price of $2000 off MSRP on the PRO so I pulled the trigger. Im not here to argue about if the PRO is a rip off or if its for poseurs or whatever. Im here for help with what tire size to buy for it. Im probably going with BFG KO2's and I know someone on here has 285/75 R16 but its a bit unclear if they rub or not. Anyone else with a pro have any input on this? I don't need to squeeze tires so big that they are 1/8" away from the truck, but I would like to go as big as is reasonable. Thanks much.

KO2 is a great tire. I believe there's a pro member here with 285/75/16 (not KO2s) that rub a full lock in reverse. If you're not planning on wheel spacers try 265/75/16. Congrats on the pro.
I wish our market had $2000 off MSRP.

I went back and forth as well, in the end went with 265/75 for less weight, not take the hit on mpg, power to wheel with the little putt putt under the hood, and not to mention price 20160903_114642_resized.jpg

I have the Duratracs 285/75/r16 they did have minor rubbing. I used a heat gun and pushed the inside fender back and trimmed a small piece(the one that holds the bolt that screws into the fender) it no longer rubs. It was a super easy fix. There is another guy on here with the KO2 and he claims no rubbing. I can add picks later.

Can you post what you had to trim? No rubbing anymore at full flex and all situations?

I also used a heat gun to mold back some of the plastic. Minor work and absolutely no rubbing. I don't think I had to trim that much but I had the guy take a little extra, plus moving the screw back pulled the plastic in a little.

Honestly the two trucks don't look that different in the pics. Maybe I should just go with the 265's to be safe. Although I can't imagine the difference really effects MPG or driving feel? Other thoughts on that?

    Cheers
