    Hey all,
I have read tons of posts about suspension lifts and coilovers. What I really am looking for is opinions. I have a 2004 Tacoma Xtra cab 3.4 4x4 that I want to add an Arb/winch to, along with a fuel tank in the bed, RTT etc. However, the stock suspension is clearly not up to the task. So I began researching suspension upgrades. OME is well respected in this forum, along with high end coilovers kits like King/Icon and aftermarket lift leafs like Alcan and All pro.

Here is the twist. If I wanted 2.5" of lift or so, along with a rear 3" lift, OME with 882 or 883 would be perfect. But I'm looking for stock height. Don't want any additional mods like UCAs, SS extended brake lines, BPV bracket in the back etc. I'm just looking for front and rear coils/leafs and shocks that will support weight and hold up to washboard and mild trails.

    So, suggestions/ opinions on running

    A) Icon 700lbs coils on 0" lift setting with AAl in the rear

    B) OME light springs/Dakars without AAL allowed to sag to I am at stock height with added weight.

    C) Bilstiens with a heavier spring that won't lift, but provide support for added weight.

Thanks ahead of time for replies.

P.S. No budget atm. Whatever works is what I will buy. I am trying not to compromise.

I think adjustable coilovers either icon or king (i recommend king) adjusted properly should work for your needs. As for an aal i would look into the progressive 3 leaf aal that add like 1.5in of lift.

    Totally forgot about this thread

Yes, I purchased OME stuff. 881 coils, Dakars, and Nitrochargers all around. For what they cost, I would recommend, but next time I'm going with the very best out there. However, I'm 20 right now and can't afford to sink $5k-$6k on a good mid travel setup.
