I've contemplated it, but my roomate takes another spare area in that same no parking zone a lot (in a much more reasonable space tho). So if I call when she's parked there, my apartment may not be a safe place to live anymore, haha. Also I noticed the local police roll by at least twice a day and don't seem to give a shit.

I feel like I'm the only person in our little end of the apartments who's willing to walk the extra 50 feet for the open spaces. The possible tow or ticket is not worth it to me. Also just not safe. I'd rather the fire dept be able to put out a fire easily instead of breaking through cars to get their hose hooked up.

What I hate is when your having a conversation out in the Driveway or parking lot and the person you are talking to leans against your truck. I have jacked up several people for doing this stupid shit.

Check this out. Not my new truck, but years ago I had a '99 White Diamond Cadillac STS that I was very proud of. I bought it when it was 4 years old with only 26k and the dealer told me it was traded on another new STS. Anyway, before I had a handicapped placard, I would always look for an end spot and then cheat further toward the end of the row, just to give me extra buffer from the adjoining space. One day I parked and don't remember the store but when I came out, an idiot was parked so close to my drivers' door (about 8") that I couldn't fit in the space and had to get in my car through the passenger side! Seriously, it was all I could do to stop myself from taking a tire iron to the dumbass piece of shit. Things like that really get the adrenaline flowing!

It's ultimately caused by the decline of personal responsibility. Kids these days are all taught that they are special and are entitled to all sorts of things. I was taught to appreciate what I have, because everything I have cost me my own blood and sweat. The lack of respect for others property, regardless of how much of a steaming pile it may look is lost on most people these days.

Well, it started with the stupid job that the stupid people at Southeast Toyota did applying the Toyoguard (that is on every truck on the lot) to my truck. If it was a car and not a truck I would have asked for credit to have a real detailer fix it.

I'm driving a beat up 1995 lifted 4runner with rusty solid off road bumpers until my tacoma comes in. And I still park it as far away as possible from other cars. I also try to park near islands.

Mobtown sliders already on order for the new truck.

I had my truck 3 hours when someone pulled up next to me and door dinged my passenger side door while I was sitting in it parked in the last parking spot in the lot.

Someone recently was helping me unload boxes and went to place one on my hood. Fortunately I was fast enough to get between him and the truck and grab the box. Told him if he tries that again he gets the ass beating of a lifetime.

    This guy gets it.

I grew up in a rich town in MA and so many kids didn't take care of their stuff because oh well Mommy will fix it or buy me another one. Not me. My first car was a $110 war wagon that I bought and fixed myself.

exactly, most shit bags who drive unmaintained, dented, beat up hoopty rides are proud of the I JUST DONT GIVE A SHIT attitude towards their vehicles(and other peoples) and expect others to follow suit with their beliefs and be just dirtbags like they are, usually these are traits are the same for their houses and how they shit on the neighborhood and neighbors property too.

A real dumbass drank too much cheap tequila while camping and puked right next to my truck. Of course I stepped right in it the next morning and tracked it in the truck.

police are too afraid to get involved these days, they would be branded as Gestapo tactics of the Third Reich, so they usually wont involve themselves cause it would ruin and end their careers
