MY go to when I can tell I'm pissing her off is just a 'love you'. For some reason, that rarely seems to change her outlook on what I'm telling her.

I recently started with "Roger that". Mine will get all lathered up when I throw that out - luckily the best she can do is the silent treatment. I consider it a win-win...

 

She was rude to me and I politely told her I didn't appreciate it. She snapped she wasn't talking to me. I said "OK, you're yelling anyway so no worries". Yeah she loved that. Yelled at me some more. I said "will you please stop breaking your promise to not talk to me, I'm sick of listening to your yap!"

 

Crap, I just spilt my drink on my desk...

BTW, Salary isn't all that it's cracked up to be. I work for a large corporation and have to fill out my time card with at least 40hrs of work. Anything less and it's deducted. When the production operators won't come in, I get called to fill in. Seems to happen on the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or when it's snowing outside... But it pays the bills.
