I'm in Clearfield. The fastest for us is up Farmington Canyon. It has several areas with some fun driving. It connects over to Bountiful too so u can make a loop of it.
A bit further north go up over Trappers Loop past Pineview res. to Hardware Ranch road. From Hardware there r many possibilities. Inspiration Point that overlooks Willard Bay, Black Fork Canyon to Hyrum, Old Ephraim's Grave, and much more
I have a Northern Utah 4wd trails book that has a ton of info in it. When I find it I will post a picture and the info. It helps a lot.

U have even more options. 2 of the best in northern utah for sure. 5 Mile pass is 20 miles west of Lehi. Most of the trails out there are drivable in a stock truck. However there are many spots that spur off then reconnect for some extremely tough rock crawling. So there is some great driving for every level of truck and driver and u call all drive on the same trails.
To the east of Alpine / Lehi is American Fork Canyon (Tbible Fork recreation area). Great camping, ponds & 4x4 trails. Like 5 mile there is something for everyone but a bit more dedicated to specific difficulty on each trail. A Google search should answer most of your questions in these areas.

Hey that's some great info man, I moved to Ogden this summer and I've been trying to find some places to go. So far the only place I've been up to is Skyline Drive out of Bountiful.

Side note, I didn't realize there were that many people from northern Utah on here. If people are interested maybe we could do a meet-up sometime? I'm fairly new to the Tacoma world and off-roading so that would be really cool.

A meet up is a good idea. If u r on Facebook there is a dedicated Tundra and Tacoma group that will put meet ups and drives together. I'm not big on FB so I never have met anyone but check them out. It's a closed group so just message them with your truck details and location.

Wasatch Tundra & Tacomas Most of the active members seem to be in the Salt Lake and Utah County areas. So meets up tend to be south of Davis County.

I also forgot to mention that there is a road that starts North of Pineview Resivior I think it's called Avon. It will also take u to Hyrum , Willard Peak, Hardware Ranch ect. It all connects up there.

In Cache Valley providence canyon is a great one. Its steep and jagged rocks, you need to be careful. Id defintaley be using the locker up there.
