    Sensors and battery aren't affected by water actually. Pro mechanics (in the interest of time) often clean battery terminals by dumping baking soda on them and hosing it down. The alternator should be dry before running the engine. That's about it.

    Haha, reminds me of when I was about 8 years old, my dad told me to go outside and wash his car. I had never done it before and thought that meant hosing down the entire car...he was pissed.

    I was thinking of using the spray-in expanding foam and then cutting away any foam that came back out the front of the scoop... That would work...yes..??
