    I feel its a little more versatile if you own a long bed. Can't speak for the short bed owners.

    Workin' on it....
    Probably the bed cap/canopy. It's kinda like the best of both worlds. You vastly increase your lockable storage space like a 4 Runner but at the same time all the dusty / dirty / wet dog :))) stuff can stay in the back out of the cab.

    Rope or tie downs. Always loading stuff in the bed and I get real mad when someone takes my rope, it happened twice now.
