887 springs? I thought they only made 884 885 and 886? And therefore if the do have an 887 it would be for a heavier load in the front.

Wrong. They do make an 887 and it's not for a heavier front load. It is a standard load spring for a 3" lift.

no sir, the 887 is a 885 with 1/2 inch longer so is the same leg of the 886 but the same spring rate of the 885.

the 887 are actually 4runner spring they are not for heavy load, they ride just like 885 they just longer.885 will give you 2" 1/2 lift, the 887 will give you 3" they just soft.that is why i got the 9000 is a perfect combination heavy shock with soft spring don't get me wrong old emu spring are not that much soft)

the reason I swap this is because is too soft for the ARB bumper and winch plus double battery, with heavy load this 887 spring it only going to give you 2"of lift now I got 886 with 9020 shock stiff spring with soft shock DSC_0763.jpg

I would need after market uca to run this setup then right? Since it gives you a 3" lift?

nope you will be fine without UCA, but to get the optima alignment expert recommend UCA ( your local shop can get your truck very closet to factory spect. that goes with any lift.

it's a longer coil but not as heavy gives more lift but supports less weight
