FML it's monday. Just dropped the pup off to get fixed

 

Morning guys. Glad we got through yesterday without anything happening. The big anniversary of 9/11 kind of had me a bit nervous

Patriots did good last night. They played very well considering how many players were out. Overall a great game and so glad that AZ missed that field goal!

 

So I brought my pop-up trailer's battery into Advanced Auto Parts yesterday to get it charged. A few hours later they called and said it's a no go on that one. It literally was smoking. I think the smoke may have been my in-line fuse which he did not detach like he said he would.
Anyway, I bought a new battery got it home and nothing. I am pretty sure the fuse is toast but I've never seen one like it before so now I need to track one down. Then as I was disconnecting the plug I also broke one of the little metal pins inside.

Got my sliders installed yesterday. Pretty easy after reading a couple of the threads.

And here I was thinking this would be a really quick and easy one.....three trips to the auto parts store later and I'll be done, hopefully

 

Oh shit that sucks. I knew that battery was NG. IDK anything about the fuse set up on it. I never used the battery on the trailer at all and it didn't have any charge at all when I got it. Luckily those new plugs are super cheap and just as easy to find. Just cut off the old one and wire in a new one. Also, make sure to use a little bit of dielectric grease on it to make sure it slides into the one on your on the truck easily. Let me know if you need a hand with anything

I couldn't do it. I made my wife drop off the pup when the time came.

@Sloth @mach1man001, two weeks from now and were headed up to Pawtuckaway State Park . Very cool campground on a lake. A big group of us basically take over one side of the island

 

Did you buy a battery yet?

I did, wasn't bad 65 bucks, much cheaper than I thought it would be for a deep cycle battery.

It's definitly one of the nicer campgrounds, kids love it because your right on the water. We had a few paddle boards and they had a great time paddling around the cove.

 

I felt so bad driving off as she was crying.

HER Monday will be worse than mine yes lol. I just have to get through a couple meetings

 

Damn, not bad! The one I just bought for my camper was $100.

 

There's some decent easy trails in that area I took my full size Bronco down back when I lived in Eppin'!

 

True but it is the best thing all in all..at least with cats it is. Male cats will still try to mark in the house if they aren't.
