Be glad you didn't clearbra your whole truck. That poor guy got abused.

 

So what I've learned is that if I have an idea that could quite possibly seem strange to someone on here, I should not go ahead with it and then post pics. I should first ask for opinions and see how that goes. Otherwise I should do it and keep it totally to myself.

Note to self: never clearbra my entire truck or dark tint my tail lights.

 

Strange is fine, careless or reckless usually isn't.

 

Difference between smart ingenious and unique vs stupid ignorant and dangerous to others by doing the wrong thing.

That and there are lots of opinions on here and not all of them are right. It's an opionion. But some things are facts, like others safety.

 

I saw a hi-lift jack mounted on the front hood of a jeep the other day...all I was thinking was thats going to be a sledge hammer through the windshield if that person ever gets into an accident.

 

still don't see what y'all are talking about, you can see all the lights fine during day or night. Even had a few other buddies opinions and they said they can see it fine

Just ask yourself, "can that idiot on her(or his ) cell phone in that gigantic SUV see that I'm braking right now?"

If they can't get ready for a big crunch. Ask me how I know.. My tail lights were stock (not painted or darkened in any way) and I've still been rear ended 2x

 

And for all intensive purposes. You didn't tint them. Which if done right is fine. You painted them...with a liquidated plastic....

Come on..you don't see the problem there?

 

Yes I see and get what you're saying, I'm just saying having a brighter bulb makes it look like it's still stock brightness wise

Take a pair of clear glasses. Plastidip them to the same extent as you did on the tail lights and go for a stroll around town with your "tinted" shades. Please post results

I'd have to improve my eyesight to make the expirement comparable because I have brighter bulbs in my taillight
