Getting to start all over :)
    Hello,

I have recently purchased a 2007 SR5 V6 4x4 Tacoma and am wondering why I have rear diff locking switch connector behind the dash where it should be located. Instead there is a cover, no switch. I have also located downhill assist and a towing brake controller connector.

Does anyone have experience with this? Could it be that all I have to do is buy the switches and viola!?

There is another connector but the part number only matches up with front passenger window switch.

These are the websites I have used to somewhat research this.

Well let's say hypothetically you have an e-locker, which I'm sure by now you know doesn't come on an SR5. Easiest way to see it is look at the rear diff and if you see the Elocker motor, then you have one. However, even base model trucks have those random prewired harnesses behind the blanks, but none of that stuff comes equipped. It's unfortunately not like FJ cruisers where you can just add a ~$60 switch and have ATRAC.

I'm not much help with TRAc and Downhill assist, I have no idea if those come on SR5s
