I'm installing bilstein 5100s and 884 OME coils with AAL in the rear, I've completely finished the front and will be starting the rear tomorrow.
So as it stands, the vehicle is back on the ground without a jack or stands, the front is noticeably taller than the rear (cause I'm not finished).
After measuring before and after on the front at least it's sitting about 4 to 5 inches taller in the front comparing initial and final heights of the front fender well.
The bilsteins are set at the top setting with the driver side plate. It just seems excessive to me.
Will it settle out or is it that high because the back is still unlifted?
    Thanks!

You are only supposed to use 0.0 or 0.85 setting when using lift springs

Makes sense if you set 2" coils to 2.5" preload.

    Well. Shit.
Thanks for the quick response. Well I'd rather look like a dummy and correct it now vs trying to drive it like that. Thanks for the help guys

Yeah I don't recommend pre-loading the 5100s at all, if you must then only go to the lowest setting (.85").

The coils should provide all of the lift and if you're looking for only a couple of inches, then the 884's alone will should do that for you.

I'll get one when I get off of work. It's definitely got a squatted down look.
I remember when I finished, feeling all proud of how well the install went, thinking damn that's pretty big for 3 inches lol

That's why you don't use your tallywacker as a standard for what 3 inches is lol

I have not had alignment done on it since it settled. My front end still feels fine and their is no tire where. So i'am holding off for now.
