    A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    Base size on needed tire size (different than wanted). IE, pick tires that are needed to serve you well 80% of your driving use.

    Find the lightest weights in that size.

    Insure that the lightest weight ones are strong enough for how you use the truck 80% of the time.

    Select correct backspacing/offset so no spacers or trimming is needed.

    Out of what's left, then decide on looks.

    Yes, function over form. Wins all day on vehicles that are useful.

    There's a website It won't actually tell you if it'll fit, but you can put in the specs of your OEM wheels and tires and then the aftermarket wheels you're looking at and gives you a visual as well as the dimensions of how it will fit compared to what you have. Very useful tool for picking out wheels

    Psh, where's the fun in that! I like to chop shit to make 'em fit, and picked mine based on looks, weight and price. I also picked the style that'll serve me well for 1% of my driving. As Abe Lincoln once said "Life's short, and I want a cool looking truck."
