hey @digitaLbraVo remember after our run a couple weeks ago at Rowher, I mentioned that my truck seemed to have gone out of 4hi and into 2wd on it's own when we were on the fire road leading to the highway?

Today, I hopped in my truck after going to the gym and after it fired up, 4hi was engaged. Now, either this is a odd coincidence where I've accidentally hit the 4wd button on the side of the shifter twice in 2 weeks (never happened before, but not unrealistic as it is right there next to my stickshift ), or something weird is going on...

When it happened at Rowher I figured I must have done it without thinking or by accident when we came out of 4lo, but today was especially confusing because I'm 99% sure I didn't press the 4wd button but somehow it pressed itself? I get how the button might 'un-press' itself on really bumpy dirt roads, but how does it get pressed on it's own

I think I have an electrical gremlin in my truck, a few months ago I was going crazy over my truck occasionally being unlocked in the morning when I'm religious about making sure it's locked whenever I get out of it. That hasn't happened in awhile, but now this...

either that or my cat is playing some kind of fucked up cat joke on me

The peer pressure is real :help:

Someone asked me the other day why I haven't started dating again since my breakup this summer, all I had to say was "my truck" and they understood.

It does...if I pull the trigger on it, it'll likely be toward the end of the group buy in a few weeks so hopefully the list doesn't fill up

How much does it weigh? Did you have plans for a front bumper? May want to hold off and just go in on something like a tube/plate if that was your goal. The thick aluminum is a lot lighter than steel.

That was my other concern, I don't know if/how it will work with aftermarket bumpers...I am pretty much sold on going with a tube bumper (over plate) later on down the line for weight reasons, but I know some of them might interfere with the stock skid placement.

Damnit, stop giving me reasons to spend money lol. Good looking out though, appreciate the heads up. But for $500 I can get a brand new one of my choosing, if it were cheaper I'd definitely consider it

First gen tube bumpers look killer. Haven't seen a first gen with a plate bumper that I dig yet. Stoked for you.
