So I just installed some Kensun HID headlights the other day and am very pleased with them. However. I've noticed that when my high beams are on the little blue light on the dash that indicates that the high beams are on doesn't come on like it used to originally. Has anyone else noticed this after HID install?

Yes. It happens with hid kits. There is a module you can buy to fix it. Just a little box that plugs into the other unused headlight socket. Do a search on Amazon or eBay for something like hid kit high beam indicator fix. Or something along those lines.

Okay thanks! It's really not that big of a deal I was just wondering if that's what had caused it or if I just had the bulb go bad. Thanks again!

Awesome! Thanks! That just plugs into the headlight plug that's not being used. Correct?

Everything on Amazon costs more, because they take out such huge fees from the sellers

Ok well I have the Kensun kit installed with hella h4 glass lens and no working hi beam indicator . So I Used the easy adapter wiring harness kit
and did not have to run a wire to the battery but there is NO unused headlight socket.
So where would this item be PLUGED into? It looks like just a one way out setup

Uh, not sure. Not familiar with the kit you're talking about. There's probably still a separate error fix kit you can use to plug into each side that has two modules. You'd have to look that up depending on the specifics of that hid kit you have.

But yeah the module I listed is for the hid kits that ARE wired to the battery and only use one socket leaving the other socket empty.

Yes, yes they do. For example, $10 fee on the boxes of light bulbs I sell.

Using these in two of our trucks (both have retrofit projectors installed). Works as it should.

So what about when the LEDs are not the root cause of the problem? My high beam indicator was working fine with my LED headlights - wasn't until I replaced the instrument cluster bulbs with LEDs did it go out. :kona:

This is the wiring harness kit I used, SO SIMPLE
The harness gets the power from the original light source and then these kits become plug and play, no need to run wires back and forth from the battery to each bulb.
installs in 15 minutes or so, so there is no extra plug.

Just ordered one of these. Thanks for the heads up, have my hid kit still sitting in the box, will have time end of this week to finally install.

is this black wire with an inline fuse suppose to hook up to a power supply?
Just started looking at the kit today.
