Installed half the kit today. Footwell lights are hooked up. I'm wondering if i can add a couple more lights. If it can handle I'll run a pair of lights through the center console and have one on each side of the console for the backseat.

From what I installed today i can comfortably say that this kit isn't too bad. Same amount of effort as installing the power tailgate lock. Going to spend tonight trying to make it so the kit will work with the lights i already have.

I tried hooking up the underbody lights and for some reason it didn't work. Only hooked up the drivers side. I'm planning on hooking up the passenger side this weekend. I think I'll just tap the two wires from the dome light like i had initially planned. I believe it was the beige-ish and dark pink wires.

You didn't by chance happen to (or possibly be willing to) take a picture of said tap on said beige wire? I blew up an ecu once being an idiot, I'd like someone to explain it to me like I'm 5. (If you'd be so kind)

I didn't take any pics of the process, I'm not too sure how well it would show in a photo. Did you try that link I attached? It's accurate, but also never plug in a circuit without testing using a computer/airbag safe test probe or DMM.
Did you burn an ECU in your 3rd gen?

I sure did. $670 later. My dumbass tapped the dome circuit and inserted a fuse that was too big for the circuit. (Momentary brain fart said fuses and circuit breakers acted in the same way....oops).

So the dome circuit is currently my kryptonite.

That's crazy. I've installed foot well lights in all 29 of my cars not counting customer cars.
I definitely use proper test equipment and fuse each circuit independently.
Sorry to hear about your troubles.

    Pic of my light bracket.

I tried the beige wire too. The beige wire wasn't in the listed number pin for my truck. I posi tapped both to try multimeter then but couldn't figure it out. Just going to posi tap straight from the dome light. Hopefully the fact that I'm switching to all led will leave me enough power to run all the lights.
