I agree Dc does suck, I bought my house in Manassas when I was traveling a lot and was flying out of Dulles. Now Im stuck working in Suitland MD. So my drive commute is horrible. I hate living in the DC area, but as it has been said its where the jobs are and the $$. Im almost ready to take a pay cut just to work closer to home.

I did discover that they're idiots and not willing to match or meet other dealers deals. I did kind of feel bad as the salesman did the best he could do but the Sales Manager would not let the deal happen. They even had the truck I wanted at another Koons dealer and would not bring the truck in for me.

I bought mine @ Jack Taylor in Alexandria First Class salesman and Finance manager!! It did start off real bad though and if not for the salesman I would not have went back even know they had the truck i was looking for in stock.

black handles would look good, I think. You could even give them a matte black like the fenders guards.

I remember when I went to Koons as they are 2 min from my rents to look at an 04 Tacoma at the time. They didn't have my first two colors that I wanted which was black or green. They then asked what else would it take for me to buy from them, I told them these trucks are too easy sought to need a third color option. I see the sales Manager, I already had print outs of two other dealers who had a Tacoma in black for an even cheaper price. I asked if they could atleast meet the price of the print outs, they told me some bullshit about how Tysons is a nicer area and the clientel here for the most part will pay more so we charge more. I said ok, good to know, went to CarMax and got my taco that same day. Funny thing is with koons I got my latest Baja from as they had it there and were selling it used with 7k on it with all the fixings as it was their demo truck. I got it for 31k instead of 39k at the time as it was the end of the year and I don't think many were interested in it at the time. I view my Baja purchase as a fluke as it was a special circumstance and worked out, but yea F those dudes.

I bought a used '05 X-Runner from Koons about ten years ago. I wasn't a fan of the sales department. Dude even backed up the truck and scraped it against another car because their lot was so full. I got a massive discount as a result, but again, not a fan. The service department is ok though. They did my frame replacement on my '08 Sport DCLB and did a really good job.

Ha! Deal. Next meet up, I'm there. I'll post pics this weekend. I'm still getting used to the 3rd Gen truck through. I was so comfortable with my 2nd Gen. This one will take a bit to get used to. It just has a different feel. The TRD exhaust sounds awesome though!

With a Cement truck in the middle to break up the white-out and provide depth! :muscleflexing:

I have the oil change warranty thing and the first two times they changed my oil the tards didn't put down a towel when replacing the fluids. I make them put it in their notes to put a towel down when I drop off now. I ended up with about 7 scratches on the right side fender thanks to some idiots belt. My hood also got some scratches from other stuff from them. In the end I put new fenders on anyway, but that attention to detail when messing with panels could be improved.
