    So which other performance mods do you have? Did you add any during the rebuild? Why did you go to the lower boost pulley?

    Have you sprayed around the engine bay for vacuum leaks?

    I have the urd 7th injector. Nothing else has changed.i changed because I absolutely couldn't get my afr correct and thought the belt was slipping.

    Okay, i guess this is the place since im in the market for boost now, has anyone on here actually run the new Magnuson Supercharger kit with the Toyota Reflash? i absolutley despise the idea of one of those bullydog ripoff flash units, and would rather have the toyota reflash or a ucon or something proven to work. also not opposed to URD's kit, as long as the UCON will pass OBD2 Emissions, since that's what my truck is subject too.

    I think the Magnuson is exactly the same as the TRD. It was always a Magnuson with a giant TRD on it. We've all used the same reflash. It works fine. It's rich. I'm subject to emissions check too. No issues.

    exactly what I have on mine and love it.

    Toyota dealer I found did my reflash HOWEVER the Magnusson kit comes with a bully dog programmer to reflash it yourself. you might have trouble getting it to reflash if you have a 09 or 12 from what my research shows though. In which case Toyota wont be able to reflash either and a new ecm is required.

    on a postitive note, I tackled Dusy Ershim trail this past week and got double the gas mileage than the non charged rigs. I was able to go over most of the trail at almost an idle. I thought the charger would lower offroad crawling mileage and was happy to see the opposite effect.

    I think so. I haven't asked. The tuner is 350$ so if you wanted to go that route, it would probably save your about that much

    I'm just looking at the emissions standpoint, the Toyota reflash is garunteed vs an aftermarket tuner that gets crap reviews on here for not doing anything.

    I hope so, would be nice to knock off a few bucks for something I don't plan on using.

    Billstein 5100s set at 2.5 in the front,2in AAL in the rear with 5100s
    No the Toyota flash is not guaranteed. In order to get the emissions cert it would need to be a TRD SC kit that came with all the emissions compliant paper work.
    If you live in nazi land and don't have the CARB cert your fucked. I believe magnuson is still working on the carb cert. But maybe they got it already

    nope, not in commiefornia. where im at, all the emissions crap in the ECU just has to report its "okay" to the states scanner. the toyota reflash leaves all that stuff in place, whereas a lot of aftermarket tuners just turn them "off" meaning you fail emissions via OBD2 Scanner.

    The UCON should be available to non URD S/C specific customers with in a few months. Once their chargers are all shipped out, and the next batch of UCONs are made. Which will work with the Magnusson kit, and pass emissions. Their is an internal O2 sim for cat-less operation.

    K&n, flowmaster, plastidip, chipped, hids, daves
    bypass valve makes the blower use approx 1/2hp when not creating boost i believe.
