I have been doing some checking on this and also the Wisconsin’s Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest and a little-known track that traverses its interior. Does anyone know about these? Where it is? Coordinates maybe? That you might be able to help a fellow TW'er out with?

I just ran across this and was able to get a file that can be used with Google Earth that shows the entire trail map. PM me if your interested and I can email it to you. I'd like to start at the southern end, near Galena, and just see how far I can get in a day.

If you go into the dropbox folder there is also a file for an overland route which bypasses the ATV trail section. As the TWAT was originally a route for adventure style Dual sport bikes most of the information on it is geared at 2 wheel travels. This has a link to a route for 4X4s that some may find help full. I have not run the trail yet to confirm if the overland map is currently 100% accurate for a truck but I was just providing some info that may be helpful that I stumble across this morning.

You probably found this already, but in case anyone else is interested, black and white versions of the MVUM maps can be downloaded here:

    https://www.fs.usda.gov/main/cnnf/maps-pubs

Not the easiest to read, but with some planning (and some highlighting) they would work out.

    Thanks for the link, ShirtTucker.

I ended up downloading the maps and getting the Avenza maps app. I'm looking forward to trying it out.
