    I live in WA and buy stuff in OREGON tax free... EVERY time I have something shipped to my door it is WA taxed SO I assume it is going to either be your state or the state in which you order it from

    If the company is set up to collect/pay taxes in colorado(or whatever state a person is in), then you will have to pay the taxes directly to the company. Otherwise, you are supposed to pay your state the taxes directly on your tax return each year. Only they can tell you if they are set up to collect/pay taxes in your specific state. There are laws that dictate if they need to set up to collect/pay in different states.

    Of course if the state you live in (or ship the item to) does not collect taxes, then you won't have to pay any.
