Originally not Expo AF! Kinda Expo AF now...lame.
Happy to report I called yesterday for the Transmission TSB and they lady there scheduled it for Today. It's done, no hassle, no complaints, I walked in at 7:00 AM and left at 7:50 AM. Lady's name was Shelby, very polite, friendly, didn't dismiss or argue about the TSB 0077-16 at all, just said bring it in and we'll knock it out.

Cruise acting good, and the P > D feels like it should. Shifting and power feels about the same, but I had already come to terms with that long ago since my previous truck was kinda like this. I actually think it holds 2nd and 3rd gear an extra 500rpm or so, which isn't a big change, but enough to make it not lag out cause it dropped down to 1800 rpm when it upshifted.

Also, Kendall Johnson did my sale, and he's a 4Runner fan and does a bit of off roading and photography, very cool and no pressure guy. Would use again 100%

I previously have been to Kinsel Toyota (service was good, service writer was polite, time to fix issue was pretty good, facility needed overhaul). Greg was my Service Writer, nice guy, didn't seem too happy to be there but was not rude, always respectful. I was there for replacement BSM sensor in left bumper.

I avoid Cecil Atkinson Toyota in Orange, TX. Service manager (didn't even get his name) said nothing was wrong over phone, AFTER admitting he'd not had an experience with the newer Tacomas...so I basically caught him in a lie. May that dealership continue the downward spiral that they are on. Never even set foot on the facility, but I have before, bought my 2011 Tacoma from them, which is why I went to Philpott this time.

Just throwing this out there for anyone in the area who's looking for a good dealer to service your ride.
