Unbelievable Gas Mileage

    2005 Tan Tacoma Base 5 LUG: Beaten , abused and still running strong.
    Fat Bobs 2.75 lift and level with short AAL, 16x8 Level 8 Guardian Wheels, 245/75R16 Toyo Open Country ATII, custom trans shift kit(home made), Trans temp. and Vac gauge, URD fuel pump upgrade(going back to stock soon).
    Marine gasoline is E0.

    Remove the K&N and wait about a tank to allow the ECM to reconfigure. The ECM sees additional air and adds additional fuel to compensate (no gained power). On a gasoline engine you need to lean out the air/fuel mix to gain power. The only drawback is more heat in the cylinders.

    My big diesel is apparently more efficient than my 5 lug. 22-25 MPG highway at 75 MPH. :p
    It also has all its emissions parts on it as well (they wont be coming off because I like warranty and the quiet). :D

    sortof stock. 6112/5160, pro wheels and a tune.
    I drove 5 hrs to Snowshoe WV from Annapolis this weekend, mileage was 23.7 there, and 24.5 on the way back.
    My tires a 255 75 17 (goodyear SRA off a wrangler) Best I ever got was alittle over 25 in NJ.

    Not really, with closed loop your oxygen sensor is dictating the air/fuel mix with or without the K&N, without any wait.

    Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
