You have a scanner but can't look up the code? Or do you not know how to change the 02 sensor?

This is a first for me. Im not sure what to do or what to replace. I don't know what "Fuel Sys 1 CL" mean, which is the reading on my OBD2 scanner. I've watched a few video's about the code P0031 bank 1, sensor 1, and people replacing the 02 sensor. Is it the O2 sensor only that I need to replace? If it is, which one is the correct one to buy for a 2004 Tacoma?

The parts house catalog will tell you. Shop around a bit, prices range widely. RockAuto is a place to look.

No need to panic, it's only the heater circuit. You're not harming the engine while you shop. Just don't wait forever.

I've not looked at a sensor location on your truck. You may well need a specialty socket. They are called O2 sensor sockets. :D

You don't have to buy a big buck one, just one that will work. Leave the high dollar tools for much more frequent use jobs.
