Hey guys new member here!I have a 2011 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner V6 with 62k miles. Recently I've hear this really weird noise like a belt slipping or something whenever I start my truck with the A/C on. Do any of you guys know what this noise is and why my engine is making that noise? It goes away right after and idles normally so any tips? Thanks!

NOTE: The noise at the end is my nose not the truck lol

That is the AC Belt slipping for a second when the load is suddenly applied. Nothing to worry about.

How many miles on the belt and tensioner?

OK I'll try the dressing belt spray and see if that helps. Thanks for the replies!

Don't put belt dressing spray on it. It just makes a big mess and your going to have to clean it off all the pulleys when you have to put the new belt on. Belt dressing is just a temporary fix.

What I do is turn the AC off when I turn off the truck and don't turn the AC on until I have the truck running.

My old 08 used to make a split second noise when I turned the AC on the first time for the day, did it for years.
