I took delivery of my 17 DCLB OR in quicksand on 9/15. I've got 250 miles on it so far (I drive a ton of highway miles) and I can honestly say this is one of the quietest, well equipped, and nicest interior on any truck I've ever sat in or owned. Two of my friends have the '15 2nd gens DCSB Sports and the interior on the 3rd gen just feels way nicer.

I considered a few brands and even used before I decided on the 3rd gen for reliability, looks, and fuel economy on the new Atkinson engine.

I haven't noticed any howling, wind noise, or transmission shifting and hunting. To be honest the negativity on this board makes me not want to read or post here. Sadly even the positive stuff gets jumped on by the negative Nancy's ...

So, flame away at me I guess because I fricking LOVE this truck.

Same as what I am waiting for - since early August; except mine will be inferno. Did you get the tech package w/ JBL? They told me mine is on hold due to "production issues"

No tech pack... I like a nice stereo but I wasn't willing to pay 3k for it. I didn't want the blind spot monitoring (i drive large objects in small places for a living, I'm good at using my mirrors) and I had a moonroof on the last two vehicles I owned and never opened then once. The stock entune stereo I found to be rather good.

I ordered 7/9 delivered 9/15. I considered the orange but the forced tech pack was a deal breaker.

That being said I think the tech pack is cool, it's just not for me. :)

Thanks for the report. I am glad you are enjoying the truck. I agree about the cabin and really like it on highway trips. I think the off road tuned suspension feels good; I especially love those big speed humps at about 45 mph. Did you get the towing package?

clearly since we are enjoying our trucks we are mutants and should be castrated to prevent our genes from procreating and sullying the gene pool.

Yessir only option I wanted was the tow pack. No tri fold or running boards, no tech pack

I live in AZ - and my main driver for the Tech Package was the heated seats lol.... The stereo was added value. Moonroof I could survive without.

Congrats on the new QS longbed, yours is just how I wanted mine, no extra bullshit from the factory. I had a garage full of my own bullshit to install.

Here it is just one day after getting it home. I purchased the roof rack separately (much cheaper) and did the install myself.

The QS is really a great color, welcome to the fold.
