Would someone who didn't get their truck with the factory tonneau cover be willing to pop up their bed cap and see if there are nutcerts installed where the lugs would get mounted to the bed? Mine came with one, and I want to get rid of it and trade bed caps with the person that buys it but if they have no way of installing it, then I would be wasting their time as well as mine.

Yes, the 'nutcerts' are on all trucks. You can swap, no problem.

OK, thank you. There's some guy on the TTE page on FB that is bashing my sale post claiming that it can't be done because they aren't installed on all the trucks...claims he works with the product manager for the entire gulf coast.

It's another term for an anchor nut. A better way to describe it is it's the threads that are secured into the hole instead of having to hold a nut there. A nut insert.

super handy for attaching stuff into OEM holes without drilling or using a nut. you see it a lot in the aftermarket with front mount intercooler installs

My truck did not come with a tonneau. I installed a factor tonneau on Friday. Popped the rails off, installed all hardware, notched out the rails with a dremel tool and put them back on. If you can get the factory tonneau for a good price it's the best deal out there. After markets are nice, but $700-800 is steep for those IMO.
