image.jpg I hit my orginal goal of 250. This was my goal before I had any idea of how much I really weighed. All I can say it has been one hell of a road. About 20-30 more lbs to go and I'm am going to start looking into some skin surgeries and then building a physic I can be proud of.

Man you have come a long way. Definitely inspiring as I'm going through a hard time being 308lbs right now. I'm about to start my new journey to get back down to 200 lbs where I can feel comfortable again. I never thought I'd weigh this much and it hit me hard when I was told I'll be getting discharged from the Coast Guard because I don't meet the weight standards. Keep up the good work man!

None of my business Sean but, after reading quoted post, I had a look at your gallery and saw a picture of you posted in 2010. You sure don't appear over weight...

Back in 2013 we lost our first son and I was extremely depressed for a while. In that time I went from about 230 lbs to 290 lbs and wasn't able to make 2 consecutive weigh ins. Was told around May 5th that my discharge dat would be May 19th. Didn't give me enough time to find a job and spent the next 5 month living with my wife parents looking for a job. During that time I went from 290 to 310. Back in 2010 I weighed right around 210 lbs.

Thank you so much for sharing this story. Truly an inspiration for those having trouble with health issues. I'm replying before reading the rest of the thread, but I'm sure a lot has been said before and it bears repeating. Stay the course and remember your goal. I come from a family where weight and health problems have always been persistent and it's gotten much much worse in recent times. It's a constant reminder to take care of myself but also a struggle to motivate my family to be healthier. Cheers to you bud.

Today marked the 1st year of many to come of living a healthy lifestyle. The last year has had its ups, such as losing 193 lbs, gaining a new respect for myself and and my family. Realizing that l can handle so much more than I've ever given myself credit for and just learning to be happy and enjoy things more. It has also had its downs, including making hard decisions to give up things in my life that weren't the best for me and of course crashing a very expensive bicycle and messing up my shoulder. But one thing is certain. I wouldn't change any of it for anything. (Well maybe the crash part). To tell people what has happened in the last year was easy would be a lie. But it certainly has been worth it. All the sore muscles, all the times I didn't think I could make it, to having to buy clothes almost monthly. None of it compares to the feelings I have now when wake up and welcome whatever challenges life throws at me. Even if there are more obstacles to come which there will be. I am ready.

Such an awesome thing to see man. All the hard work and determination has definitely paid off. I have told several people about your story and about the progress you've made, and they all are speechless. I know it hasn't been easy but i'll say I'm very proud of you and what you've accomplished.
