    Sorry for the long explanation.
    All_Pro.jpg

Looking for help identifying a set of AP expo leafs for a gen 1.
Here's a little bit of the back story: The person that I got them from bought them new from AP a few years ago but wasn't happy how tall they were so he sent them to Deaver to have them flattened a little. He isn't using them anymore and offered to trade them to me.
Here's the issue, they look to be missing a leaf or two. I count seven leafs at the centering bolt. Also, they don't have the part no. (4500T-AP-3EX-PR) anywhere, just a faded sticker that is barely readable. I totally belive the guy, I think Deaver removed the few leafs, thus flattening the pack.
Can anyone that has a EXPO set counting how many leafs are at the centering bolt? I'm trying to identify which leafs are missing with hopes that AP can send them to me. I have an email out to Tracy but she hasn't responded yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a photo for comparison (from OP)

If you look at the All-Pro web site on the leafs, they state that the standard leaf has 11 leafs and the Expo's are 20% stiffer although there is no mention of more or less leafs in the pack. I'm thinking they are the same looks wise.

    From there site:
All-Pro Off Road now offers a heavy duty "Expedition" version of its popular rear leaf springs for Toyota Tacomas. Long known for the superior quality and off-road performance of their standard duty leaf springs, All-Pro's new Expedition leafs are specifically designed to combine off-road performance with heavy duty weight carrying capacity. The popular expedition style trend in off-road vehicles is resulting in trucks that are carrying heavier loads than normally seen off-road. Specialized long-distance excursion gear such as roof-top tents, recovery and repair gear, camping equipment and extra water and fluids can add significantly to the cargo weight of expedition vehicles, exceeding the intended operating parameters of typical performance leaf springs.

All-Pro's Expedition Leaf Springs feature a 20% higher spring rate than their standard leaf springs. They are otherwise identical in dimension and quality, providing the same eye-to-eye measurements and wheel travel. On unloaded Tacomas, they will result in a 1" taller stance than the stated lift height of 3". The stated lift height is maintained with loads of 400-500 lbs of cargo.

The first gen ap expo pack comes with 7 leafs. Following my purchase, I too was concerned regarding the amount of leafs in the pack so I referenced previous threads to confirm I was clear to begin installation. I'm assuming the the 10 leaf pack for the 2nd gens consists of thinner leafs whilst the 7 leaf pack is able to provide the same load carrying ability with a fewer number of thicker leafs?
Anyhow, best of luck with the install.

Went smooth since I work at a dealership:D never have done springs before and took me about an hour and a half the springs came in good bushings already pressed in my truck finally sits level with the weight and rides way better than the blocks and the AAL these springs should have been done a long time ago here are some pics
image.jpg Way to much block and flat leafs..
image.jpg The truck after is level and rides like a dream gonna order some fox 12" smooth bodies now so I can see how well they flex
image.jpgLooks like I need bigger tires...
image.jpgAny other ideas on what to do next? Love TW input.

After a few years of abuse from towing a crawler and from being on the trail it was time to perform a little maintenance on these bad boys. I installed new leaf spring bushings today and sprayed a coat of spray paint to make em look fresh.

I'm still very happy with the Expo Springs after all these years. They have been through a lot both on and off road so far and have been consistent. The springs absolutely can handle weight in the back while still having good ride qualities unloaded.

Having access to a lift and a screw jack made the process a snap without any drama..who needs drama on a Sunday anyways right!?
    20160918_111856.jpg

The old bushings popped out without much fuss. The old bushings were a little oblong in the middle and the sleeve was worn and pitted, it was obviously due for attention.
    20160918_105624.jpg

A trick that I did to help ensure proper amount of grease is used is to install a bushing with the sleeve on one side and then shove in some grease before installing the other bushing.
    20160918_110638.jpg

Making them look pretty again. One half side fresh, other half side old and danky..

Is it okay to run these springs with Old Man Emu 60091 rear shocks?

Thanks for the quick reply ,I just ordered the allpro expo leaf pack for my 2015 Trd off road got a good deal shipped to Hawaii. I'm lifted 3in front and have the headstrong 3leaf add a leaf in the rear with the overload left in. I'm hoping this leaf pack will perform better for the snugtop camper and for when I tow my boat but I'm thinking I'll be really high in the rear tho
