Very neat!! It looks like your able to adjust the position of where you mount the spare tire. That's an awesome feature I haven't seen before!!

Yeah, i'm just happy to get it in. Leaving on a trip and really wanted the bed space. Just the other day, built a back up bracket to mount the spare to the truck rail system in case it didn't show up.

Had fun getting the bumper level on the truck.

Spent the last week in the blue mountains had a great time and didn't really have time to get to many photos. One day we were heading up a canyon when it started raining the road turned to soup. Really need to get the fenders back on.

    2016090695144915.jpg 2016090695144942.jpg

It was so wet and muddy, even here where it's just a few degrees of angle we started to slide off down in the canyon. The HC was nice as we were able to put the truck in reverse and go up on a bank through a blackberry bush and some logs to get traction and turn around.

I think the trucks really starting to look good now that HC rear is on. It also made the rear end a lot softer which is nice. Next step is to modify the air intake to go behind the grill until its time for a snorkel along with getting power management started. As far as power management goes Im thinking of doing duals in the engine bay, but put all of the fuses and inverters behind the back seat. Also came up with a plan for a building an overhead console for holding aux switches and cb.

Got the house work done early to keep the wife happy on saturday, so decided to do a quick afternoon run up clemans mountain. Talked to a few people up there sheep hunting, also ran into a match set of red xj's that looked freshly built, new paint, bumpers and fox shocks.

Ordered up a hi-lift handle keeper ( that handle rattles like a mofo ) and 4xrac mounts from mule outfitters, and got new fender clips on the way from Amazon.

Wanted to get wife some time behind the wheel and see if she would be up to going some trips. So this afternoon we decided to head up manastash for her first trail run. It was pretty cool to see her drive and get into it.

She loved it, might need to start building up her 4 runner haha. She did really good, there was one point were we had to drop down a steep ledge on kinda of a hairpin corner ( photos 8,9) and we lifted the drive rear tire going down. Got a bit hairy, but she pulled through and nailed it.

Haha forgot I put those back on. I can't believe they stayed on the whole trip.

Because I removed the inner fenders when I trimmed I pulled the stock air tube and re-routed it with flexible rain gutter pipe. I'll take a pick in the morning it's kinda ghetto but works and doesn't get mud and dirt in it like the stock one. It will hold me over till I get a snorkel.

Due to the amount of mud of dirt I got in the air box after trimming for the LT and pulling the inner fenders. I rerouted the air box until i pick up a snorkel.

It kinda ghetto but it works. No dirt or mud from over the weekend and no rise in temps.

Tore a boot last weekend, so just ordered a set of high angle boots from CVJ. Hoping to have time this weekend to get them on, if they show up on time.
