It's on the top side of the egr valve .. it has 4 bolt holes total .. two top / two bottom ... here is a pic of the new one ..

Soak them good with PB then loosen those nuts, they will slip right over the last unthreaded bit.
Or stud will unscrew with the nut, either way works.

All you need is PB blast.

Better than pb blast is a home made solution of 50% acetone and 50% transmission fluid. Works in seconds and way better than anything on the market. I have it in clear squeeze bottle from harbor freight.

I've soaked it good with PB.... I was able to get two nuts loose .. one top one bottom on drivers side , but the bottom one (first pic) nut won't come all the way off .. and theirs no head on the back .. is it a bolt or stud ? Haven't tried the two on the other side yet ..

Too late to ask this I guess, but are you CERTAIN you need to replace the valve itself?
Many times, guys assume an EGR-related problem means replace the valve.
There are many components of the EGR system that can fail.

Lol.. had it put on a machine and it gave a code to EGR valve as " most likely the issue" forget the # P something.. I did take the small filter out of the cap next to the valve out blew it out good and put it back in but nothing changed . I don't know what else to do honestly ..

That thing with the filter next to the egr valve can fail, as well as under the intake there is a vacuum switching valve that can fail. And actually these two items are more likely to fail than the actual egr valve itself.

The thing with the filter is the egr modulator.
