South Carolina BS thread under new MANAGEMENT and lives in SC

I'm worse when I'm on nights, because nights off mean a lot of tv and internet free time


Plus it's hard to justify saving for a house when your apt is only $400/month with 2 garages and when your hot water heater breaks, it's fixed the same day with no out of pocket expense

 

Jelly. I miss my place in Columbia.
Definitely got more for my money there.

 

Been here for 6 years so far...it sucks sometimes though because management calls me when theres issues with tenants

 

Become a cop, and then wait around a couple years until the right complex has a courtesy officer spot open and HOPE you can get it

 

Dog disappears and wouldnt come when I called her. 20 minutes later she comes into the living room and starts rubbing the top of her head on the floor. Finally get her to come to me, she's soaking wet. She just gave herself a bath, guess the tub is dripping. Lovely. The one time I dont put the babygate up in the bathroom....

 

Oh no, i forward those calls to on duty guys

I usually deal with parking issues, noise complaints, and drug complaints

 

And its flat rate water included in my rent.

This dog is obsessed with water. She can't get enough.

 

Northeast but not as far out as you, normal non police rent is around $800 for a 1 bedroom with no garage

 

I learned this week that appliances suck when they go bad. Got my power bill (for 900sq ft apt) and it was $465.00

After I picked myself up off the floor, and regained my composure...called apartment office and they came out and my hot water heater's switch went bad and had stayed on constantly....awesome...

 

It's a nice complex that's not in Crookhaven

 

Tomorrow will be a fun phone call to SCE&G and then when they refuse to help me on the bill, a call to the apt complex to see if they'll discount my rent one month to help me out

 

Mine is usually between $80 and $150 depending on AC use

 

$80ish the last few months in a 1/1 upstairs apt. Can't wait for fall/winter. I keep windows open in fall and sometimes cracked in winter. Cold sleep is the best sleep.
