so I finally got around to getting some new shoes for my 2016 TRD OR, and I thought I would post a pic or two...
Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs in 265/75/r16, stock suspension, mounted on powder coated FJ Trail Team replicas. I think it looks awesome. I thought a looong time before deciding on white letters out, but with black rims and a white truck I think it looks good
Can't report on performance yet, I have only driven 10kms so far. Will post a better review in this thread in a few days...

So even though my new rims do not have TPMS, I have not gotten a check engine light of any kind so far. I have not gone to the page in the menu where you check the tire pressure. Does anyone know if the computer is just waiting for me to access that page to trigger the warning light?

Is your stock wheels with TPMS in the garage or near wherever you park you truck at home? If so it will sense it everytime you're home so you won't get the error message. Drive it long distance and it will error out.

@zippsub9, my brother, I love him!
Keep us updated on your mpg's, I have a long commute but would like to get these tires if they are not too big of a hit to mpg's.

I run the same size tire, with a bed rack,RTT, skids, and some other odds and ends and I get 16 to 20. 18.5 or so average across all pavement tanks. I have the manual which was rated at 17-21, so overall I took a 1 mpg's hit from the rated mpg.

Just make sure you buy the c rated tires not the e rated. I would expect a bigger hit on mpg's from the e rated tires.

got them from another TW member...(you could search my post from way back for the original thread)when I had the same model truck in a 2005...I was lucky to hang on to them when I sold that truck.
Mine were the gray trailteams that were powder coated black, and the powder coat seems to match the centre cap perfectly! I love the rims, but fyi they took quite a bit of weight to balance this set-up. One wheel took 16 ozs!
The duratracs are C weighted, and on my drive to work today I noticed a SLIGHT increase in fuel burn...like maybe 1/2 mpg if that...
a little noisier then the stockers, but they look sweet and I am ready for winter now!
