The reason I don't know how it comes, is because the dealership I work at, has ZERO in stock. Most orders I place that arent typically stocked items, I have to pull parts from a warehouse or a distribution center from another state, so until the order gets placed and gets to me, I don't have any way of looking in the box.

If I had one here, I'd walk over right now, open the box, and let you know. But I can't.

Does that answer your question well enough?

My guess would be that the kit comes exactly as shown in the picture :) I would be very surprised if it didnt.

Better is very relative to what your use case is. The Bilsteins are a digressive rate shock, the OME is a progressive rate. Very different. For something driven primarily on the street with occasional off road use I personally prefer the digressive rate. You are also paying a premium for OEM parts.

I believe the Pro kits come assembled, unlike the Baja which requires assembly.

"Better" is subjective. Bilstien uses a generic dampening rates across their whole line up. They use a 255/70 (Rebound/Compression) for most all vehicles, and front and rear applications. Despite stating they valve for each vehicle, I haven't found this to be the case. OME actually valves each application specifically. For a day to day vehicle, OME is going to be the better suspension.

OK, that's what I thought. At least that's what all my research. Two, I've been very happy with my OME 885s and Dakars with matching shocks. $1200 delivered too. Thanks.

It is hard to call one better over the other without knowing what driving characteristics are important to the driver, they are just different. I have run OME in the past and it is an outstanding performing suspension system, however it is entirely different handling than Bilstien. The Bistien digressive dampening is more preferable for sportier handling and high speed stability, vs the softer progressive dampening of the OME. The OME will ride softer and soak up low speed bumps smoother than the Bilstien. Personally for me, on this vehicle, I prefer sportier.

    No mods whatsoever!
FYI. I put the TRD Baja suspension on mine and they do not come assembled. You have to use the top hats from your OEM suspension unless you purchase new ones. Hoping the OP reaches the magic number (5) for the group buy.

The front's came fully assembled when I brought mine a year ago. I had to reuse the bushings...........did not come with the new rear shocks. I did not have many miles on the old bushings so there were still good.
