Damn, You're the real deal brotha, those are some fun fun races !
That's the thing, here in East County SD there are tons of places where I would just rip those trails apart but it's illegal and I know good ol' Wilbert would call the cops on me lol

Very good to know, It'll probably be a while before I actually get to selling the XR's and getting a CRF build started because I'm still building my truck up and that's taking all my time, excitement and money haha

From the beach, to the mountains and down to the desert, Nothing like Baja!

OMG I would just like to say that Tyler Pelfrey has the most badass truck ever! Has some special mods for sure!

He had me install the locker and some of the wiring for the air compressor to the Switchpod system and wired it in and routed the air line, and did a little exhaust relocation to clear the high clearance skid, which keeps all the skids at the same level for a perfect modular skidplate system.

The only reason he didnt do it himself is because he is super busy working on the bumpers and moving into a nicer shop, so he's slammed, but I was glad I could help! Plus it was kind of fun doing that kind of stuff. Came out pretty slick!

How do you like that crimper? I might hit you up in the next month too once I get some crimp lugs.

    Yes
I have the HF hydraulic crimper, it works well however the dies stop at 4 gauge. IMO even the 4 gauge die is really only 8 gauge. I need to see if I can find larger dies for it because I have a big project coming up.

    Yes
I just went and checked mine, it is labeled 0 but it is seriously for 8 gauge at best. When you use the 0 die on 4 gauge the crimp squishes out the side of the die...no way it would ever actually fit 0 gauge. Also make sure that you only use seamless crimps, if you use a seamed crimp it always gets squirrelly and comes out bad.

Good to know. I figure to ask since hf stuff is hit and miss.

Whisky is delicious, but gets me in trouble.

You're welcome to try my HF crimper as well if that's of interest. I don't get up to Murietta often but I'm sure we can figure something out.

I'm in San marcos right off the 78. I'm only using it for some 2 gauge wire I believe. Gotta move my battery but I don't have a welder down here. Hit me up whenever and you can borrow it.
