On the RSI website, does the bulb kits come with two bulbs or just one bulb?

 

So is it just the 2nd gen that you need to trim the dust covers? On the 3rd gen it's just simple plug n' play for both fog and low beam correct?

Hey guys, I did the "Glare Guard" mod this weekend and it helped eliminate most of the scatter I was getting. I was lighting up everything on the road even with the headlights adjusted way down and fog lights off.

If you haven't already, consider doing this mod if you're using oem reflectors. It cost me less than $2.00 and an hour of time.

@LovelandTaco the black box (ballast?) seems to have gone out on one of my fogs, i've reached out to you in PM and email but so far nothing. any possibility of getting a replacement ballast? it's not the bulb, i tried it on the opposite side of the truck with positive results. i threw my old halogen fogs in for now, kinda glad i held on to them now.

 

I had questions about shipping that I emailed about. Also other questions I sent via the forums here... took weeks for a reply. .. specs wise these bulbs do look better but the lack of communication / and possibly support.... ended up going opt7 they were fast to email.back with questions and help. The lumens are not as bright on paper but good enough for me.

 

Just bought me the entire set including highs with the 20% off.
