Went in to buy a used 2016 and walked out with a 2017 TRD Off Road. Yeah, they must have seen me coming. Actually I couldn't be happier with this truck. My last was the '86 that I bought new. It was fully loaded, meaning it had A/C and a tape deck. That's sarcasm, I'm sure there were other options available, but mine was pretty much a bare bones truck that would have triggered at least 15 steps on a fitbit each time I needed to put the window down.

I'm the co-host on The 4x4 Podcast and have been off-roading for about 25 years. Most of my experience is with Jeeps. I don't rock crawl anymore and needed a vehicle that was a little more useful or versatile. The taco is perfect. Not sure what my first mods are going to be yet. I'm sure new tires are in the picture (not going bigger than 33's), a lift (time to peruse the "how much lift do I need...." threads). A winch bumper will be in the picture as well as some storage solutions. I'm sure this forum will be able to provide all the info needed.
