    Ripped Arm Rest ???
Can't tell you how many times my driver's side "RIPPED" armrest pinched my arm.
After reading many complaints about this problem...I did a little research. Replacing the entire door panel is just plain stupid....and Toyota should be ashamed of themselves for only allowing this option. Replacing just the arm rest is an option, if you want some old used part from someone else's truck...That's just bad karma for me....
Sooo. I went to my local Toyota dealer and discussed this problem with them.
They have an upholstery guy on call that repairs any rips or tears in the vinyl or cloth upholstery on all the NEW CARS that come in damaged. Hey, what do I have to lose ???? So I gave him a shot. It took about an hour....Let me tell you....I dare anyone to find where the 3" rip was in my arm rest. He matched the color, and the texture. It's been 3 months since the repair...and it's still looking just as good as new. The cost of the repair $80.00....Give it a try...I think you will like the results.

Thanks for the Welcome...Not sure what the other comments are about. I started this account solely to help out others that are paying up to $950.00 for repairs, when they can get it done for only $80.00...it will probably be the only post I put on here...Thanks Again.
    Allen.

Thanks for the picture...Looks Good...You did better than I did.....I can't believe people are buying the entire panel for 7 to $900.00.

Too many children on this thread... I was mistaken that you had to be at least 21 to go on the internet by yourself.
I'll see if I can find an adult forum.

Is there a write-up on this process on the forum?
