Sticker was 45k plus 10k markup.

Salesman had a sap on the line to buy it putting 10k down on a lease. And told him the beauty of that truck is a year from now it'll be worth 40k.

5k depreciation in a year and brushing off the fact that he also threw 10k down.

Another sales dude came up to me and was like she's pretty awesome huh.

I said. Meh it's alright. Colors cool

He asked what I drove I pointed to it in the service area and I said my truck would kick the crap out of this thing.

Cannot believe anyone would pay 25k more than I paid for my off-road.

I think you're missing the point... It says "Pro"

Kidding aside, it's ridiculous. That money can be put to better use doing personal aftermarket mods.

    10k markup? Idiot!

I'd gladly sell him mine for $50k.

My dealer had a Barcelona red one in there at a touch over $42,000. Even $42k is hard to wrap my head around but $55k? I wanna know what pipe they're drawing from.

My first thought was, and you sir are why we had a mortgage crisis

I understand supply and demand pricing. Buyers can control the demand part of the equation. I never understood someone in such a hurry to purchase a vehicle they would be willing to pay a "markup".

Clue one for the Pro fans. Wait it out. Toyota and the dealers will drop the markup and even negotiate the msrp. Each to their own. I just have better things to do with my money.

If you pay over msrp for a pro you're an idiot. I paid less than sticker for mine.

I wanted one until I saw the price, then decided nope. I'd much rather not be spending upwards of 65K after tax (Canada) and that's just if you pay sticker price.

According to a dealer near me one just sold for 71K all in taxes and mark up.
For 71K I'd be expecting a lot more than the pro can deliver.
Not to mention that 22K saved on the difference of an OR after tax being 49K can make the OR perform 10000x better.

Seriously whoever the hell is paying 71K for that thing...either has more money than they know what to do with, or is just really fuckin stupid.
