Toyota booming in San Antonio

Just thought this was interesting. From the San Antonio Express-News: Toyota's planning to expand its Mexico plant because production is just insane at its SA plant. One truck every 60 seconds! Dang.

 

Thanks for sharing. Interesting article. I've never worked in manufacturing before, but the technology we possess to build anything as complex as a truck that fast is just amazing.

 

Well that may be true but Toyota's "QUALITY" sure has gone down since the 2016's have come out, with all the problems I've been reading about on the 3rd Gen's (probably the same for the 2017's as well. We'll just have to wait and see).

It appears as though Toyota has gone the same route as all the other major vehicle manufacturer's have.

High PRODUCTION for PROFITS first and fuck Quality.
