In Dungey's words, I was "super pumped" to see KROC charge hard, pass Dunge early and take a W. I agree i think the track and pressure was a lot for Dunge tonight. Man i hope Weimer is ok. He looked beat up after that tangle. He crashed into Peick and fell, then Barcias bike pinned him down then tickles bike hit him then Alessi ran over him. Ouch....

I wanted Plessinger to do better. Cool venue seemed packed.

Agree, but think how long had it been since Honda had a guy they could hang their hat on. Hondas got the money, and that's what they've ALWAYS done, just go out and buy the best riders.

Great racing this week! Jeremy Martin had an awesome ride but Davalos held his composure. Great track this week too. It would be cool if we see Jeremy on a RCH 450 next year. Many contracts expiring this year! Can't wait to see the moves made for 2017.

Bubba definitely has way too much money just from his Red Bull contract. I think the Suzuki bike just sucks for him. Has the Suzuki really
ever been good to any rider? In my mind the combination has cost him a lot of wins. Put him on a great bike again and I believe he can
    finish his career strong. :bikewhoops:

Only Rodger DeCoaster, Ricky Carmichael, Ryan Dungey and most recently Ken Roczen. Bumba is yesterday's news, regardless of what bike he's on.

To be fair... Imagine if KRoc was still on a KTM. I think the Suzuki is kind of an inferior bike. How often do u see one with a whole shot? Almost never. But yea I agree Bubba is the past... He needs to just call it quits.

    ********SPOILER ALERT********

Man there were some exciting passes on that last corner right before the finish! Kroc 17 seconds ahead of 2nd place?!! I think if he does well in the outdoor nationals then he'll probably stay with RCH, now that they got the bike dialed in. But big Honda $ might talk. Stoked to see Dungey get back to back wins. Last couple races Tomac has been on rails, i think he's going to have a really good outdoor season too. I was hoping Plessinger would take the W over Malcolm but the guy started in 15th and worked his way up to 5th, hard charging but not enough. Im ready for outdoors!!

Well there's been no action here since Vegas, what a crazy race! It was actually pretty funny watching the guys try to get through that whoop section looking like a bunch of amatuers. Obviously not saying I could do any better but it was an entertaining race... And I was glad Dungey was able to top off the season with a victory. It was too bad Webb was injured I really wanted to see him and Stewart battle it out... Already looking forward to next year!

^^^Well truth be told, i was at Glen Helen thurs and fri working as track crew setting up the track. Got sick friday night and ended up not using my 2 free tickets to the race. Spent the whole day in bed with the flu and just now getting better. That was a bummer that Roczen had the air go out of his forks, talk about a scary track to have that happen! That new kid Forker 214 really impressed me.

What up fellas. Been a while since i been on TW. Working a lot on my KTM and just keeping busy with other $hit. The outdoor series is the KROC show and I'm stoked for that guy, but the 250 class has been more interesting imo. Im a fan of Osborne, and great to see him do well And how about Steinke on a 125 2 smoker getting 20th place first moto.

Anybody got any good riding stories as of late?

Exactly. The Suzuki has always been a great bike for pros, due to the geometry. Look what happened with Davi Millsaps a couple of years ago. He was leading the points for the first half of the year and no one expected that. He loved the Suzuki. Pretty amazing for a bike that hasn't changed much. But the bikes corner razor sharp (at the cost of some stability). Sorry old thread, but I was just adding my thoughts. Bubba's head is out of the game. The bike brand doesn't matter. He hasn't been driven to win since 09.

Bring on the '17 SX thread!

Does anyone have anything for KR at this point in time? From the small sample we saw outdoors RD didn't. But it would have more interesting had he no gotten injured. ET made a few runs at him late in the season. But basically everyone else was racing for second place.

Well, the team change could be tough for him. All new CRF450R, new time etc. Who knows. The last 2 years on RCH show what happens when he is not happy / comfortable (last year) with the team (and bike set-up) compared to how he is when everything is clicking for him (this year). I still think RD will pressure him and give him a run, every night. Eli needs to learn how to come out of the gate lol. But he will have his moments up front, maybe. I could be stretching here, but I expect Webb to run up front a bit on his new Factory YZ450F too. Hopefully it is a fun year of racing and not a run-away.

Ya, KRoc is the big one. Canard to Redbull KTM. Baggett to BTO KTM. Jeremy Martin to Geico Honda (250 this year then 450 next year). Those are the main ones that I can think of.

Oh, and JS7 is off of Suzuki. But no new team has been announced, that I know of.

Well it's official Kroc on Honda as RacerX posted today. 3 year deal, man that has got to be a lot of $$$. Anybody going to Redbull Rhythm in October in Pomona?

I think it's cool Roczen is going to Honda. Should be interesting to see how long it takes him to get dialed in with the new team. Should give Dungey a pretty good advantage early in the season.
Not going to straight rhythm, I feel like it's the kind of event you have to watch on TV. It's just one long straight so if ur there in person u really only see a small part of the race. I will be at MEC tho as per usual! Anyone else gonna be there?
