Hey, yeah, little ruckus going on last night, more planned for tonight I hear, down town (uptown if you are a fru fru) near popo station.

I dont know Galen, the one at HC Plaza? I avoid the Taj if I can, only go there for seafood once in a while, and steak once in a while. got some nice mahi fillets this past weekend there, wife approved, so must be OK

 

He worked at Morrocroft, kind of a 2nd level manager in fresh foods. When I voluntarily got fired, the guy above him (Wayne something) was leaving HT to go fulfill his dream of handcrafted soap making.

He was a black guy, average height.. seemed like he was in his early-mid 30s. Cool dude. Wayne was a good guy also.

Wayne and his wife were pretty into the natural experience thing.

I walked across the street to Barnes & Nobles their across from the mall and bought a copy of Walden on my lunch break one day, talked to Wayne about it on my way into work and he took it and told me where his favorite parts were and showed me some of the quotes that "clicked" in his life.

Kind of a weiner as a coworker, but seemed like a cool dude.

I got pulled on South Blvd a year or so ago during the day, for an out of date tag, CMPD, very cute young hispanic woman officer. Window down, pull my license and CCL permit out before she gets there. Hand her both, leave hands on steering wheel, answer her questions, do you know why, blah blah, I said yes I know why, and I am taking care of that tonight. she said are you carrying today, yes maam, where is it, and i said over here in my bag, she says loaded? i say yes maam. she says ok, with two fingers, grab it slowly and hand it over. I did, she took it and worked it like a champ, making it safe. she took it back to her car and ran numbers on it, came back handed it back, said take care of that tag and have a great day. honesty and respect go a LOOOONG way......
