Hi cosjohn, still have this leak? I was under my taco last night and looked around because I noticed a small oil stain on my garage floor. I too have a small leak from this exact same spot. Inside that hole in your picture it's very oily and I had a droplet of oil coming out of that hole. Naturally, I wiped the drip off with my finger and didn't think of taking a picture.

Anyone else experience this? I have 500 miles on my taco, so pretty much brand new.

As for Crown Royal, that stuff flows like sap up here in the Great White North. Good stuff

From the FSM, it is a drain hole. Totally normal.

No oil or seal problems in there (driveshaft) to worry about guys, you should be ok, but it’s always a good idea to get under your truck and look around, kudos to you.
Most likely it was greased with high pressure, like when a grease gun is used, and this high pressure squeezes or separates the water liquids from the grease body in the process which then find their way out the drain hole. Totally normal

    Hope that helps
    Cheers!
