    Fixed! Thank you.

    Hi all
I finally finished wiring and plumbing my 12v Arb twin air compressor only to have it immediately shut off. The positive and negatives are run directly to the 'house/accessory' battery and the Arb/Switch Pros harness is providing the switching. The switch is programed on/off. No, i did not run the pump before pluming. I should have.
    Any ideaa?
    Thank you.

    Check out the build
So is the compressor just shutting off without blowing the fuses?

Not blowing fuses. I'll try bypassing the switch pros, some time today, and see what happens. I'll post an update with the results. Next step after that would seem to be removing the plumbing and see what happens.

Sounds normal, now blow up a tire and see if it stays running, my viair shuts off too unless I'm blowing up a tire

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Is the pressure switch adjustable? That's where I would look.

    Okay.

I had a similar issue - I made my own harness for my compressor. It would shut off quickly after starting it, took me awhile to find out what it was:

I had the self resetting fuses on the fuse block - it was a smaller fuse for the amount of draw the compressor was creating. So the fuse would shutoff when it 'overheated' and wouldn't reset until it would cool down. Then the compressor would work again.

It's working! I redid all the plumbing. Cleaning off the viar thread sealant (some of which was in the regulator) and applied my own. I ran the compressor each time I added a piece of plumbing.
    Thank you all!

i just installed an onboard arb compressor. as soon as i hit the switch, it ran for a few second then immediately shut off. at first i thought it was a blown fuse but it wasn't. then i thought i tapped into the wrong port in the fuse box but it wasn't. then i realized that once the pressure was built up after running for a few second, the compressor shut off (pressure sensor) until it need to build up pressure again. hooked up the hose to the compressor and pump it. as expect, it works. fyi
