    Happy Birthday Jim! Hope it was a good day for you.

    A lot to be said for having a job you like and working with people that respect you and everyone gets along. And good bosses. Even more to be said for not sitting at a desk all day, yet not beating up your body :) The desk is going to get to me eventually if I'm not careful. I'm 58 and figured I'd retire on my second retirement this year. After divorce and alimony, both sons illnesses, and everything else life has thrown my way looks like 67 now so 9 more years. Then again none of us are promised tomorrow so I just try to make each day count. Although I hoard my vacation time to bird hunt in the fall with the dog then back to work for another year. Good job and good people and bosses, so not a bad thing.

    Not much vacation time here. Had 4 weeks. Now after buy out years ago only 3. Plus if have to work on a sat that week that goes off too. Can't save them, can't save sick time.
    Last time out fishing Sunday I think. Then pressure wash and pickle for the winter at some point next week.
    Pull my garden Sunday also.
    One more race in NY in couple of weeks. A few years ago there was snow on the track. So who knows.
    After that it's full blown winter prep.

    The Air conditioner has been running since late April and soon it will Time to open The windows and shut it Down. Also instead of cutting the grass every week soon it will be every other week and all the shrubs slow Down. It's been a Extra Hot Summer and I'm looking forward to the up coming Months!     First day of Fall and temps here are warming up , expecting temps to climb to over 105 deg by the weekend . Been busy ordering parts the last couple days and also found a 468 BBC short block with domed pistons and 4 bolt main

    Not much going on today just waiting on the repaving of my section of parking lot to be completed so I can get to my garage . Sucks not being able to get to my truck and been using shoe leather express the last day or so
